ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR, LOUISE THOMPSON

Louise is a corporate escapee turned wellbeing pro. After seventeen successful years on the commercial side of senior media management a serious health crisis led to a complete lifestyle overhall and a brand new direction. As a life coach, and the first Martha Beck accredited coach in New Zealand, she loves nothing better than to help her clients get inspired, get happy and make their own rules for a connected, passion-fueled life with her trademark VIP “Happiness Hacking” coaching programme, and her thriving group coaching community of Wellbeing Warriors.

A national newspaper columnist since 2012 her popular weekly wellbeing column is published in The New Zealand Herald each Monday at the back of BITE magazine. Her first book “The Busy Woman’s Guide to High Energy Happiness”was published by Penguin in January 2014 and is motivating people with practical solutions to step up and live their best lives. She is also a regular on the couch on TVNZ’s  “Breakfast” as well as various other radio and TV shows including Radio Live with Mark Sainsbury and The Paul Henry Show, and is the resident weekly lifecoach on #SaturdayFresh show with Carly Flynn.

A qualified yoga teacher she also runs her own yoga studio “Positive Balance” on Auckland north shore as well as leading corporate wellness seminars with forward thinking kiwi companies who are serious about improving employee wellbeing. Always fascinated about what makes people tick Louise specialises in insanely practical tools and techniques that are easily integrated into every day life – small changes that make a big impact on happiness and health levels.
